In many companies, keeping employees motivated is an ongoing challenge because they might be tempted to explore other opportunities. At NeuroSense, however, our team is uniquely engaged and committed to our mission. The strong alignment with our goals and dedication to maintaining high standards ensures that our employees are not just motivated but deeply invested in the success of the company.
I have been working at NeuroSense for three months as the Office Manager and personal assistant to Alon, NeuroSense’s CEO, and Hagit, the Chief Operating Officer.
When I first joined the company, I anticipated a very formal and serious work environment. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the welcoming and approachable atmosphere. The balance between maintaining high standards and fostering a supportive, collaborative environment has made my experience here enjoyable. Everyone is incredibly friendly and self-motivated, thriving without the need for constant oversight. That said, I do enjoy adding a personal touch, like keeping the kitchen well-stocked to show appreciation and support.
On a different note, it is very refreshing to see so many women at my workplace. As a woman, my day-to-day is easier because I am surrounded by people who understand me as I am. Everyone is so open and fun, and I really feel that it makes for a healthy work environment.
In every company I have previously worked at, a lot of effort was required of me to form relationships with all the employees. But at NeuroSense, my first weeks included mandatory one-on-one meetings with all of the employees to get to know them, which I really enjoyed. I was able to become integrated into the group very fast without having that awkward period of time feeling like a stranger.
One of the things I find truly special about this company is how everyone is kept in the loop, even if their role isn’t directly related to the scientific aspects of our products. For example, when I first joined, Hagit took three hours to walk me through everything—from the medical insights to the scientific details and operational procedures. This thorough and inclusive approach made me feel valued and connected to the company’s mission from day one.
